Finally time is the time for season 4 of Energy Book III: Kanan growth, with Raquel Thomas, Kanan and the rest of the family for a great surprise. Season 3 final not only saw some of the deaths of the main characters, but preferred by fans-played by Joey Bada $-also raised from the dead. What about now?
Showrunner Sascha Penn and Stars Makkai Curtis, Pine Miller, Malcolm Mays, London Brown and Joey Bada talked to Cnet for Season 4 and filed suggestions for what will come for their characters. Spinoff’s new installment also sees Tony Danza’s return such as Stefano Marchetti, Wendell Pierce and Erika Woods as Snaps and Pop, with the newcomers cast Chris Redd as Early and Parison Fontaine as B-Rilla.
Raq, Marvin, Lou and Kanan have no unique idea is still alive, so it goes in season 4, it’s business as usual for the Thomas family. Kanan and his mother are not in greater terms, but at the core, the show is about his journey and the effect it has on its environment – and all the people on it. This effect will become more pronounced this time.
“I think what we start to see in season 4 is different, do I think Kanan really begins to take steps towards being the boy we see him in power,” Penn said. “You can’t go through everything this guy has gone without becoming a little harder, a little tougher, a little more cynical and frankly, a little more violent.”
Curtis added, “while Kanan reveals more about himself, as Kanan reveals more about the world around him, he discovers that he is more like his mother than ever, and he is trying to fight him.”
Raq has its battles this time, Miller shared that we will see a new side for her this season, which can surprise us. “There will be some great moments for her that she can’t just get out of her way,” she explained.
“To see it has to navigate as someone who is accustomed to being in control, lose a little control, and how it feels, and how uncomfortable it is – I think it will be really exciting for the audience to see this new side of Raquel. Because you grew up with it, you have watched it from 1 to 3 to be so full?
London Brown like Marvin Thomas, Patina Miller and Raquel (Raq) Thomas and Malcom Mayys like Lou-Lou Thomas.
What is unique, Marvin, Lou-Lou and those breeze rumors?
Conflict with Raq may not be the only thing in the store for Kanan – or someone else in the family orbit. The last scene of season 3 cuts into uniquely standing on the body of his dead brother Ronnie, a response when Ronnie beat him and left her dead. He saw Kanan and Raq enter and leave the building where the clash (and setting) were descended with Ronnie. But his injuries will affect his actions and processes of thought, which can be dangerous to everyone. According to Joey Bada $ $, we will see another version of it. “This is not unique typical. He is working on a completely different side of his brain, which is simply more messy.”

Joey Bada $ $ as unique in lifting the Canan.
Viewers are accustomed to seeing unique by keeping themselves in a quiet and strategic way, but changing was a welcome challenge for the rapper’s actor. “Almost almost like having a new character, but I looked at it as an alter ego of this character already existing,” Bada $ $ said.
In this show there is no free time in this show, and being sure, everyone in the Thomas family will be busy. There are relationships with Stefano, endless hunting of law, family drama, romance and some new business companies. Marvin and Jukebox relationship has been tested, but Brown says his character realizes this season that his daughter is “more like him than not”. Fans will see him “begin to make progress to hoping to prevent him from going to a path for which he was not really recorded.” In addition, Raq’s oldest brother will cheat on some danger tasks that benefit him.
As for the youngest Lou-Motra of Raq and the other uncle of Kanan-he still wants to work in music, paving the way for a possible partnership with B-rilla, played by Parison Fontaine (also known as Parlia). Mayys said there are some fun scenes with the rapper and the series also has a love interest in Lou that turns his history slightly compared to other characters. “I feel like my world is Fly Fly,” he said.
I asked Penn if he wanted to put rumors in bed for Breeze appearing this season, and he jokingly – but politely – refused. However, he stated that they tried to tell certain stories in the rise of the Canaan and always “leave it somewhat nebulous and secret.” While this is not a firm no, he added, “what I will say is that I think we offer about the story we are telling. And I think the fans will be happy with what they see and how season 4 plays.” Interpret it the way you want.
